The Belgian Vocal Trance Group Sylver

The Belgian vocal trance group known as Sylver is led by Silvy De Bie. He was born in 1981. Silvy started to take an interest in pursuing a musical career at the tender age of nine and appeared on the tv show De Kinderacademie which is known as The Childrens Academy. She was cut from the show shortly after because the law in Belgium does not allow children under the age of 16 to work. When old enough, she returned to the show with a band that went by the name “Lance”.

Wout Van Dessel who was born in 1974 is Sylver’s keyboardist and songwriter for the group and Regi Penxten is the groups producer and also helps write songs for the group as well. In 2009, the group brought John Miles Jr. into the fold and plays guitar for the group and he helps write some of the groups songs also. Silvy and Wout knew one another through a club where he was a well known DJ in Belgium.

The group Sylver has traveled extensively and played in many parts of the world. The group got its start in the year 2000 and was known in the beginning as Liquid and they turned out their first single in the same year. The single stayed in the top ten for 12 straight weeks. They have since released numerous singles and albums and the most recent album is their 2009 May 8th release of “Sacrifice”.

The groups style of dance music has many devoted fans and followers. They have performed in many music venues across the world and continue to do so. The group seems to be on a very successful and continuing road in the world of trance and dance music. They are a hit with many of the worlds leading dance music clubs and their future is very bright and shows the possibility of becoming one of the worlds most beloved vocal dance sensations. The group Sylver plans to take make more performances and tours in the future. For now, nothing seems to be slowing this vocal dance group down anytime soon.
