The Euro Trance Sensation Sash!

Sascha Lappessen was born in June of 1970. The group Sash! was started by Sascha Lappesse, Thomas “Alisson” Ludke and a many by the name of Ralf Kappmeier. In 1995 these three individuals began the German DJ team whom are also producers. Only a year earlier the three was performing as a group known as Careca and was vaguely known by their song “Indian Rave”. The year 1996 saw them through to their hit sensation and release of the song “Its My Life”.

Sabine Ohmes was the singer for Sash! in 1997 and the groups biggest break came under a song known as “the big break”. Topping the UK music charts in the glorious number two spot and going on to hold a spot in the number ten in five different countries and reached a prestigious spot in the top 20 in seven different countries as well.

They have since then released many chart topping singles and albums and have broke many chart topping records and releases. They have reached unprecedented heights in topping the music charts around the world and have extensively worked in collaboration with many other well known music groups and artists on projects both of their own and of artists.

Their sound and style has gathered a huge number of fans and followers and they are still hard at work as of present. They have released many records under the music label Hard2Beat and specialize in the Euro trance genre. The group has seen 18 million of their albums sold globally and have accepted over 65 awards that include both Gold and Platinum. The group has performed and toured extensively throughout the world and their music is regularly played and heard throughout every popular dance club around the world. The group does not look as if they will be slowing down any time soon and continues to have a heavy fan base that is dedicated to the group and all its members.
